Period of validity of the vaccination certificate |
The vaccine passport is considered obsolete if the holder does not receive the 3rd dose of the Covid-19 vaccine four months after the second injection. For people who have recently taken the first dose, their vaccine passport will be active for the time between the two doses, which varies from one vaccine to another.
Please note: countries may apply stricter/less flexible entry measures for the validity of the vaccination certificate & recovery certificate. Stricter local measures may also apply.

Health statement Belgium | If you spent time abroad more than 48 hours, you should fill in the Passenger Locator Form maximum 180 days before your arrival in Belgium. It must be completed to avoid a fine of €250. Without a valid form, you will not receive a boarding pass. You will be denied boarding. |

Restaurants | Pubs and restaurants are open, with some restrictions. You always have to wear your face mask at the entrance and whenever you leave your table. Your temperature will be checked at the entrance and you will be asked to disinfect your hands. The entrance and exit are separated in order to guarantee the safety of all customers. |

The museums and cultural sites are open. Your temperature will be checked, after which you will be asked to disinfect your hands. You are requested not to touch any objects and to follow the signs. Wearing a face mask is obligatory. |
Cinemas and theatres | Cinemas and theatres are open. All possible measures are taken to protect your health and ensure your safety: a marked route, checking of temperature at the entrance, disinfection of hands and numbered and separate seats in order to keep a safe distance. Wearing a face mask is obligatory in cinemas and to attend performances in theatres. |
Shops | The shops are open. Wearing a face mask is obligatory in shops, boutiques, shopping malls and convenience stores, for your own protection and that of others. Disinfectant materials are at the customers’ disposal at the entrance of all shops. As the number of customers permitted in the shops is limited, the safety distance must be observed when standing in line. |
Guided tours | Guided tours are possible. The guides will provide a hygienic kit and disinfected sound equipment before and after each visit. Wearing a face mask is mandatory during the entire visit. You have to respect the social distancing rules and to disinfect your hands after each contact. |
Nature & recreational parks | Nature and recreational parks are accessible. Frequent disinfection of the hands is recommended. Wearing a face mask is obligatory. A physical distance of at least one metre is recommended. For indoor areas, a temperature check and disinfection of the hands at the entrance is obligatory, as is wearing a mask. |
