Assistance to the victim of an illness like Covid-19 or an accident
- Assistance and reimbursement of the medical expenses abroad, up to € 100,000.- in Europe and € 1,000,000.- in the rest of the world.
- Reimbursement of medical expenses in Belgium resulting from an accident abroad, up to € 6,200.-
- Repatriation of the victim of an illness or accident, together with an insured traveller companion of his/her choice.

What is not covered? ¹
- Air holidays in case of pregnancy or more than 28 weeks
- If you are not ill, but do have to have a Covid test taken at your destination. This is covered in the package All Risk cancellation insurance + travel and assistance insurance.
- Damage to baggage solely due to wear and tear
All Risk Cancellation Insurance
Before the trip (75% coverage)
- If you tested positive for Covid-19 (PCR test) less than 72 hours before departure to your destination.
- If no green travel advice was issued for your destination at the time of cancellation of your trip.
- If you have lost your job, if your leave has been cancelled or if you have gone bankrupt due to the epidemic/pandemic.
- If a rapid test taken on the day of your departure has a positive result.
- If you test positive at the body temperature checkpoints at the airport.
- If you receive the result of your test in the context of your trip too late due to a lack of capacity in the lab to process the tests.
- If you have to go into quarantine at your destination, 75% of the extra expenses for your stay, e.g. extra nights and meals, will be covered. ²
- A mandatory Covid test at your destination (75% coverage). ²

- 24/7 telephone assistance via a TUI emergency number.
- All medical costs are covered if you fall ill at your destination, including due to Covid-19.
- Repatriation of yourself and your family (if required for medical reasons) is also covered.
- Third-party payment in case of hospitalisation.
- Covers theft or loss of, or damage to baggage.

Do you suddenly fall ill due to Covid-19 after 3 days of your holiday and do you have to be hospitalised? Your medical expenses will be reimbursed.

Where and when am I covered?
You have the choice between insurance cover in Europe or in the entire world. The insurance cover takes effect on the date of your departure until the date of your return. If you book a package including a cancellation insurance, you’re covered from the moment you make your booking until you’re safely back at home. The cancellation insurance applies to trips worldwide.
Where can I take out this insurance?
The insurance is a complement to a trip and can be taken out at the time you book your trip, with your travel agent or via the website. You ban book your insurance until 24 hours before your departure. Combined with a cancellation insurance in one package, it can be booked until 57 days before the date of departure.
