Which technical appliances am I allowed to take in hand baggage?
Only devices you need on board are allowed. Examples include: a mobile phone, a portable music or entertainment player, a laptop, a camera …
Please pack all lithium powered power banks, external battery packs, spare/loose batteries, electronic smoking devices, cigarette lighters and matches in your handluggage.
Electronic devices such as cell-phones, electronic tablets and game computers may be used during flight, take-off and landing, but only in ‘flight mode’. Larger devices such as laptops must be switched off and stowed securely for take-off and landing.
Often these devices contain batteries, which fall under the international regulations for the transport of ‘dangerous goods’.
Important! For safety reasons, you are not allowed to carry loose lithium batteries (e.g. power banks or spare batteries) in the baggage you check in. Please put them in the personal item you can take on board. This practical overview provides more information about the items you are or are not allowed to carry in our (carry-on) baggage.
