How do I reserve my seats?
You can book a seat type via 'myTUI’ from 30 days to 48 hours before departure (74 hours for long haul flights*) for all TUI fly (TB) and Freebird (FH) flights.
For example, if you fly at 11 a.m. then you can book 30 days before from 11 a.m. onwards. If you are departing from a destination with a time difference to Belgium, keep the 30 days and Belgian time.
You can check in online on most of our flights via 'myTUI’ immediately after booking a type of seat or if no seat reservation from 24 hours to 1 hours before departure..
Online check-in and/or seat reservation is only possible once the booking has been confirmed and paid in full.
Please note: if the flight is booked between 30 days and 48 hours before departure (74 hours for long-haul flights*), these services are available approximately 30 minutes after booking.
*Long Haul flights are Intercontinental flights (flights where your departure airport is on a different continent than your destination airport) with a scheduled flight time of more than 8 hours.
Flying with Another Airline
If you are not flying with TUI fly, you may need to go directly to the website of that airline to choose your seat and check-in. Some airlines allocate seats and boarding passes only when you check in. In that case, we recommend checking in as early as possible.
You can find the name of the airline you are traveling with, the booking reference of the airline, and the web address of the airline on MyTUI, just below the details of your flight. Make sure to use the booking reference of the airline to log in to their website, not your TUI fly booking reference.
Please consult the airline's website for more information on seating
